British design icon Anglepoise has been making lamps since the 1930s, and between now and then, those lamps have made their way into design museums, onto British postage stamps and atop millions of end tables and desks worldwide.

Starting with Type 1227, its wares have expanded to more varied, niche lighting categories over the years, but each still employs the spring balancing mechanism that made it famous.

Now, its Type 90 Mini model is even more compact — the 90 Mini Mini takes up half the space of its parent lamp, runs off a 20,000-hour LED bulb and offers power via USB or the traditional wall plug. The lamp is available in blue and grey, carbon black and silver now.
